Located
in the paleomagnetism and geochemical building of the Geophysical Institute
and giving service mainly to the Department of Geomagnetism and Exploration
(paleoenvironments, paleomagnetism and geochemical groups of study). Presently
it has 4 microscopes: - Petrography microscope Olympus BX60 with transmitted and reflected light, photomicrographic and digitalized image systems and simultaneous and independent real and digitalized images - Biological observation microscope Olympus BX50, with normal and Nomarsky phase contrast and digital and photographic cameras. - Invertoscope microscope Olympus IX-70 with Vtermhöl system of identification and counting of sedimentary samples and phase contrast. - Stereographic microscope Olympus SZ-PT View microscopy room |
